Medical Assistant

Our mission is to deliver the highest quality patient care in dermatology services.  We are currently seeking candidates with exceptional customer service and clinical skills to join our team as a Medical Assistant.

Qualifications include: 

  • Customer service experience required
  • Must be computer literate and understand electronic medical records
  • CPR certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
  • At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
  • MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program

Duties to include:

  • Assessing & updating medical history of patients in the EMR
  • Analyzing info regarding the conditions of skin health
  • Informing patients about proper and available treatments
  • Conducting non-intrusive medical surgeries
  • Educating patients about preventive skin care
  • Screening patients and employees daily upon entry

Receptionist

Our mission is to deliver the highest quality patient care in dermatology services.  We are currently seeking candidates with exceptional customer service and clinical skills to join our team as a receptionist.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling and greeting patients in a friendly professional manner.
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Collecting co-pays and payments and entering them into the practice management system.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed for the office.
  • Obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
  • Check patients in and out and complete updates to patient information and insurance.
  • Handle Insurance/ and initial billing process.
