Injectables and Fillers in New Jersey

Botulinim Toxins/Neuromodulators

Injectable neuromodulators use botulinum toxin derived from bacteria to soften or eliminate facial wrinkles and achieve a smoother, more youthful appearance. By interrupting the transmission of nerve impulses to relax targeted muscles, the injectables listed below effectively smooth the overlying skin and combat signs of the aging process:

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers add volume and fullness to targeted areas of the face and body. At Dermatology Institute and Laser Center, we use JUVEDERM, Radiesse, and Restylane injections to achieve an extensive array of cosmetic outcomes for our patients.

Juvederm

JUVEDERM is an industry-leading dermal filler that effectively targets signs of aging, restores contours, and adds softness and volume to the face. Its active ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the human body that contributes to collagen production and promotes soft, healthy skin by binding with water molecules.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a synthetic filler with the active ingredient calcium hydroxylapatite. It works by adding structure beneath the skin where needed and also promoting the production of natural collagen near injection sites. Radiesse is used to address moderate to severe facial wrinkles, can help augment cheeks, and reduces the appearance of veins in the backs of the hands.

Restylane

Like JUVEDERM, Restylane is a hyaluronic acid-based filler. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of fine lines on the face and hand volume enhancement but is commonly administered off-label to treat nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and many other signs of aging.
